SETTING UP YEALINK CLOUD PHONES TO USE STATIC IP ADDRESS

Optional hardware only available when registering for an Enreach business communications system.

This article will provide you with the step-by-step instructions on how to set up a static IP address for Yealink cloud phones.

Switching a phone from DHCP to a static IP can be an effective method to resolve connectivity issues such as “URL call is disabled” errors. It may also improve certain call quality issues. The static IP address can be configured through the phone’s menu or via the web interface.

Please make sure you have the following information before you proceed:

  1. Phone password

The phone password is required to access the advanced settings in its menu. Unprovisioned Yealink phones in a factory default state should allow an admin to use the password.

    NOTE:
To address issues with locked or configured phones from Enreach, it is necessary to get in touch with our support team.

  2. Current IP address
  3. Static IP address
    • Subnet Mask
    • Default Gateway
When configuring advanced network settings, it is advisable to consult an IT or network professional. The network administrator should verify the IP address and assign and record any static IPs to prevent conflicts in the future.

SET UP STATIC IP ADDRESS USING WEB INTERFACE

Using the web interface of your phone simplifies configuring its settings.
NOTE:
To access the GUI successfully, ensure that the phone is connected to the network and that the computer you are using is on the same network as the phone.

  2. Log in as an Administrator and enter the password.
