Internet phones work on a system called VoIP which stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. This method uses an internet connection instead of a landline or mobile system to transfer voice data.
Using internet connection creates advantages over a traditional system as the data can be manipulated to suite your requirements whilst in transit.
