2019 Year in Review

As 2019 comes to a close, we’re taking a look back at what has been a fantastic year for Network Telecom, with further product and service development, award wins, a stronger focus on corporate social responsibility and the start of a new era for the business with an exciting acquisition.

We began the year with the launch of our charitable committee NT Together, with the intention of increasing fundraising activity via a variety of events, including dress down days, bake sales, raffles and breakfast clubs. In 2018, we raised a fantastic £4,000 for Severn Hospice and we’re well on the way to exceeding that for 2019!

Following on from the successful launch of our feature-rich desk phone NT Multimedia, we introduced NT Cloud, our very own hosted phone system that’s located in the cloud. NT Cloud delivers all the features of a traditional phone system, but with the advantage of being able to work anywhere and anytime, therefore allowing our customers to work more flexibly and more efficiently.

Our dedication to product development was reflected in our award win at the 2019 Shropshire Chamber Business Awards. Having won in the category of Technology, Enterprise and Innovation, we focussed our entry on NT Multimedia and the impact it has had on the way in which businesses communicate. We’re extremely proud of this award, as it represents the hard work, innovative thinking and creative input that goes into the development of our products and services.

It was also great to be named the Regional Winners of the Best Use of Technology at this year’s British Chamber Business Awards, with our entry focussing on how our phone systems enable our customers to work smarter.

In partnership with the Shropshire Chamber, we introduced the Shropshire Chamber Telecoms Solution – a chamber member exclusive scheme that provides customers with the opportunity to claim back up to 100%* of their Chamber membership fee while giving them access to exclusive savings, when they upgrade their business phone system with us.

A new and exciting chapter has also begun for Network Telecom, with our acquisition by European technology and telecoms group Enreach. This opportunity will not only allow us to explore new products and work with new businesses, but it will provide access to increased resources and a wider pool of expertise in 2020.

After such a successful 2019, we’re looking forward to another brilliant year in 2020, with further product and service development, more business growth and a continued focus on charitable activity. Be sure to regularly check out our blog and social media for company updates and announcements.
