Important update for mobile users – changes to roaming in Turkey

As of the 1st of June, this year, Turkey is no longer classed as an EU Zone 2 roaming destination, across all DWS Vodafone and O2 tariffs.

With Turkey now classified under Rest of World Zone 1, there will be some changes to the way in which Vodafone and O2 customers are billed for usage, with the most notable of these changes being that Turkey is no longer a free to roam destination and as such, customers will be charged, when using their handsets.

Other countries that have recently experienced changes to their roaming status are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, now all located under the “Roam-Further Zone”.
