We’ve raised over £9,000 for Severn Hospice

We’re very proud to announce that we recently presented our charity of the year, Severn Hospice, with a cheque for over £9,000 following 12 months of fundraising.

Initially, we set a goal to raise £5,000 in 2019 to exceed our previous donation of £4,000. We smashed this goal, raising £9,810.18 in total, which we are incredibly pleased with.

The fantastic sum was raised through monthly activities organised by our charitable committee, NT Together, which included events such as bake sales, doughnut days, raffles, sweepstakes and competitions. We also had weekly dress down days to raise extra funds.

In addition to our regular fundraising we also supported Severn Hospice by participating in their events, including the Colour Run and their Annual Dragon Boat Festival, where we sponsored one of the participating boats.

Founder of the NT Together committee, Becky Homersley, handed over the cheque to Severn Hospice’s Hannah Gamston alongside Lesley Ellis, who has been at the forefront of fundraising at Enreach for many years. Becky spoke of the donation; “It was amazing to be able to donate over £9,000 to Severn Hospice, our charity of the year. They do fantastic work that many of us at Enreach have experienced firsthand. We are looking forward to raising even more money this year and we have set ourselves the goal of raising £10,000 in 2020.”

Severn Hospice help families with incurable illnesses throughout Shropshire. They need to raise over £11 million each year in order to provide support and care for those in need.
